A promotional image from Whispering Corridors (1998) as a Korean schoolgirl stands in the middle of a corridor, a foreboding presence around herIt’s Cinemosity! Beginning with the sad passing of the voice of Zorak, Clay Martin Croker, and multi-award winning playwright Edward Albee. Then it’s onto the gossip as love is once again over, Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from Brad Pitt. Of course this caused an Internet explosion of schadenfreude and conspiracy theories which are all stupid. Plus love is extra deader because Mary J. Blige is also getting a divorce! Plus, is Vin Diesel going to bring Paul Walker’s character back into the Fast and Furious movies? The hell? Plus. more Pacific Rim 2 casting news and Martin gives his theory of the first film’s story that makes the movie even more awesome!

Our movie this week as BACK TO SCHOOL MONTH continues is Whispering Corridors, a character drama/boring ghost story set inside a miserable high school. It’s way too long, unfocused and ultimately very tedious. Next week is a genuine horror classic: The House on Sorority Row! It’s on Amazon Prime and Shudder so watch it!
