Another packed show! Cinemosity begins with speaking on the sad passing of Movie Grandpa Robert Osborne. Then shade is thrown as talk turns to the continuing saga between Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma, Emma Watson gets hypocritical and Arnie quits The Celebrity Apprentice and talks shit about the current President. Movie news includes projects nobody cares about, more stupid Ghost in the Shell news and Sam Jackson asks for more casting opportunities for African American actors.
Then our movie is Glitter starring Mariah Carey as our Musicians in Movies Month rolls on. Glitter is perhaps THE most generic and forgettable “talented person with no money makes it big” story of all time as Mariah dreamily drifts through the trite story without a care in the world. It’s awful and you’ll find out why.
Next in the Musicians in Movies Month series is 1992’s FREEJACK featuring a time travelling Emilio Estevez being chased around by none other than Mick Jagger of The Rolling Stones. Fun!
