E3 2017 has come and gone, the hype has died down and Martin and Justin now feel it is safe to talk about the show. They touch on the performances of the “big three” Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo and speak about other events and games on display that caught their eye. This includes DRAGON BALL FIGHTERZ which is being developed by Guilty Gear makers Arc System Works, as well as the new Far Cry looking pretty nifty, as does Spider-man on the PS4. They also praise the utterly bizarre Devolver Digital “press briefing” which was a nightmarish, utterly surreal spoof of the sort of presentations big AAA companies produce for the show. Being that this show was mainly just about showing off games it’s a pretty positive show with very few opportunities for Martin to be a mean old cynical curmudgeon. So that’s a ringing endorsement right there.
