On this episode the Cinemosity crew talks about the sad suicide of Chester Bennington, the lead singer for Linkin Park. If you or someone that you know needs for help but does not know where to turn you can visit RAINN.org, crisistextline.org, suicidepreventionhotline.org or suicide.org. Here is another good resource.

Other topics included Usher’s disgusting lack of care for women he’s giving herpes to and a whole bunch of SDCC news including the Justice League, Ready Player One and Stephen Universe!

This episode’s movie is Knightriders, a somewhat bizarre labor of love for the recently passed George A. Romero. We pay tribute to our late, beloved Horror Grandpa with his odd film about motorcycle jousting with a ridiculously intense performance from Ed Harris and an amazing turn by special effects maestro Tom Savini as his rival. It’s long, it’s meandering, and that’s just our discussion about it! We kid, but Knightriders is definitely an interesting film including in some of the ways that it is flawed. A remarkable little film with a lot of love behind it.

Next time our movie is Takashi Miike’s incredibly weird horror/musical/comedy The Happiness of the Katakuris! Watch it on Shudder.com!

The poster for Knightriders (1981) painting of Ed Harris shows him in his jousting armor and the text for the tagline: "the games, the romance, the spirit, camelot is a state of mind"
