Cinemosity 180 – Night Train to Terror

Night Train to Terror is truly a film that will leave you in disbelief that it even exists. Horror anthologies were all the rage in the 80’s thanks to the success of movies like Creepshow and the continued success of TV shows like The Twilight Zone and Tales From the Darkside. So we get copycats like Night Train to Terror which cashes in on the craze in the most slapdash and lazy way possible. Rather than shooting a series of stories to go along with the wraparound segments this film instead takes three feature length films and hacks them to pieces so brutally it defies comprehension. Framed by an annoying band performing the same song over and over again, and a conversation between God and Satan, we see three utterly bewildering stories that are so poorly edited none of them makes a lick of sense. Boasting genre faves like John Phillip Law (BarbarellaSpace Mutiny), Richard Moll (HouseEvilspeak) and Cameron Mitchell (a billion movies) it is a ridiculously over the top and nonsensical hack job that bad movie aficionados will love.

Our next movie is 2002’s UNDISPUTED starring Ving Rhames, Wesley Snipes and Peter Falk directed by Walter Hill!
