Welcome Home Brother Charles is an interesting Blaxploitation film which really tries to be Ganja and Hess. Unfortunately it’s more of this awkward little story about a black man being brutalized by the police and trying to get his life back together after leaving prison. With a totally insane last 20 minutes that is certainly pretty unique! Meanwhile there is BLACK PANTHER TALK as one of the major popular culture phenomenons of the year proves to be a juggernaut at the box office and one of the best super hero movies EVAR. Plus Joss Whedon is out of the Batgirl chair basically because he had no idea what to make the movie about apparently.
Our next film is the Netflix exclusive The Cloverfield Paradox.
